This is an extremely rare Reiffel and Husted nickel-plated slide soprano saxophone. What makes it so unique is that it has both tone holes and a slide.

The nickel plating is in very good condition. There are a few visible places where the plating is worn off but all of this is pretty minor. There were a few different slide saxophones made back in the day, but this one is probably the best. The slide actually extends out and locks so the saxophone can then move throughout all of the tone holes. It is quite a playing experience! It is hard to describe how it plays. Sounds like a soprano but needs to be played like a trombone. What a unique instrument.

This is a great playing extremely rare Reiffel and Husted slide soprano in excellent condition. Truly a collectors saxophone. Sax comes in a handmade case.
